We begin with questions from Tory Member of Parliament Caroline Dinenage, that chairs the panel.

She commences by providing context to the disclosed document written by Michael Prescott and printed in a daily publication.

"I do not desire the BBC slanting toward one side or the other, My only wish is for it straight, unbiased and fair," he says.

In response to a query if he believes the British Broadcasting Corporation is institutionally biased, Prescott responds: "No, I do not. To be clear, numerous aspects the BBC does is exceptional - encompassing factual and entertainment content."

However, he continues: "There exists significant effort that must be undertaken at the British Broadcasting Corporation."

The second previous consultant BBC specialist interviewed by the committee, Caroline Daniel, says she takes the BBC very seriously and that it operates a "continuous process and active debate" across evolving and intricate subjects.

"Did the BBC prepared to conduct a proper conversation and argument and take action?" she asks herself. "In my view, affirmative, they were."
