Administration Condemns 'Democratic Fabrication' as More Epstein Estate Photographs Disclosed
Democratic lawmakers have published a new tranche of what they termed "troubling" images from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The first release of 19 imagesāa portion of which have been previously circulatedāalong with another 70 released later on Friday account for a minuscule portion of the almost 100,000 images handed over to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the actions and ties of Epstein.
The disgraced financier died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking crimes.
Notable Figures in the Photos
Among the high-profile individuals shown in the opening set are celebrities such as movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin empire.
Donald Trump is pictured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are obscured.
Administration Statement
The White House addressed the release in a official comment, charging Democrats of selectively "hand-picking" the pictures for political purposes and to "try and create a false storyline."
"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been consistently disproven," an administration official said, insisting that "this presidency has done more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats ever have by frequently urging openness, making public reams of documents, and calling for further investigations into Epstein's Democrat friends."
Panel Member Comment
The photographs were published lacking captions, but per a Democratic representative from California and senior member of the investigative panel, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's associations with affluent people.
"It is time to halt this White House concealment and deliver justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he stated in a statement.
The release of these documents coincides with the House panel continuing its investigation into the Epstein case.
